Set CPU scaling governor, energy performance preference, and ACPI platform profile for performance, balanced, and battery‑save modes. Added root assertion and detailed logging.

- Enhancements: Use of logging to report successes/failures; fallback to modern scheduler governor (schedutil); validation of CPU sysfs paths.
